Light Rain, in a RARE public performance, will play selections from their four internationally known albums; DARK FIRE, DREAM DANCER, VALENTINE TO EDEN & DREAM SUITE. Pioneers of “New Age” & “World Beat” music; Doug Adamz. Russ Gauthier and Evan Morgan weave sensuous melodies over the compelling rhythms of Bill Amatneek on bass and Tim Bolling on Arabic percussion.
Not only has their music been used by literally thousands of belly-dancers and troupes, but also by the Joffrey Ballet, The Aspen-Santa Fe Ballet, The San Francisco Ballet, The Oakland Ballet, in a film by Robert Altmann called ‘The Company’, and in two Spanish television series. The Kronos Quartet are guest artists on Light Rain’s album, Dream Suite.
This Mother's Day, May 8, is a chance to enjoy their unique style in a small, intimate environment with fantastic food & welcoming hosts in beautiful West Marin County California on a spring day.
